Pioneer Avic-D3 vs. Avic-Z1
 

What is the difference?....other than screen size and price. I was thinking about going with the Avic-D3, just because it seems like a good deal.

i cant give pros and cons for both since i havent used the D3, but i'll just say some things on the Z1.

Pros...Great unit. so far i am very satisfied with it. HDD based maps, and 10 GB HDD music storage. Plays many kinds of cd and dvd formats. Has the gracenote database which song info. and a bunch of other stuff. check out the website for all the features. Navigation is very accurate, and does the route calculations quick. Voice navigation is very, very accurate for a unit that requires no training. Has a bunch of accesories that can make driving much more pleasurable.

Cons... Menus seem to be a bit slow, but i guess that because of the fade in/out effect. Many complain about slow ipod interface, personally i havent tryed it yet.
