Out of business as of a couple of days ago.
Yea man--took their stuff off my site a few days ago. Can still get it from other sources until it runs out.
Ooops. Jason needs a new supplier.
I wonder if SMA is going to have a fire sale, I need a tire carrier!
![]() Did they do the post toastie BK or the rebirth version? |
There are already companies that can fill the demand--they just need to watch their quality control.
The only thing SMA really produced was the billet--the rest was packaged, or subcontracted heavily. I have been buying the rest of the stuff they offered direct---like SC's, shocks, lift kits, brakes, power mods. They just marked it up and passed it on to their dealers who passed it on to their customers. |
Ok, that sucks, I was getting ready to order up an SMA brush guard for the H2. Anyone know who made this for SMA?
I think Kacyk has one he may be looking to get rid of...

Go with Phil's!

That seems very surprising. SMA was pretty well known in the Hummer scene.
Actually they filed Chapter 11 and will stay in business. According to my AZ source.
Still - crappy news.

If you knew SMA management, you would not be surprised.
Too bad as I liked their products

Their name and patents are for sale, however to purchase them, you must purchase their debt as well, which is in the millions.
