It is obvious from the quote that it is a new power plant that is making it's debut. Not a modification to the old 3.5 I5.

Yeah, but the question is where is the power band located. at what rpm range?

At first I thought the article might be incorrect and the engine is not the 3.5L I-5. However, the gain of 40 hp versus the 25-30 hp for the '07 engine has me baffled.

Then again, they have this modified at GM's desert proving grounds. No telling what those guys did to it out there. |
