Trailer Hitch Help

Would you be so kind to post some pics of your factory hitch. I'm ready to get one and probably will cut the rear bumper to fit. The OEM hitch is around $500 dealer price. But if you know any place cheaper, that would be great. I want to look like the factory hitch......thanks in advance. :beerchug:

I found this on ebay, the picture looks like the factory hitch but not sure. What do think?

Disregard the camera stuff; this is the factory hitch.

F5, you're the best! One of the reasons I still hang around. thanks. :beerchug: Thank you.

Do you or anybody have a bottom view of the hitch?.......ok, I know I'm asking too much now. :giggling:

Thanks, this forum is great.

I don't know if you've seen the aftermarket hitches from Drawtite, but I just put one on my base model '07. It looks super clean, I think cleaner than factory. The way it mounts is with existing frame bolts and the only part you can see that is not hidden by the bumper is the actual 2" receiver block. I've towed my boat 3 times now and it works great, the nice thing is you don't need the drop. If you're running 35's you've hardly decreased your departure angle from stock--that's the way I look at it.:beerchug:

Just remember, if it hangs below the rear bumper, you will lose some angle of departure. That's why the idiots :excited: at Hummer cut out the lower bumper for hitch installation.

Not sure if I have a hitch on the black one I have been driving. If so, I can probably get a photo of the bottom.
