New 07 Hummer got Questions....

Hello Hummer peeps!! New to the site and have a few questions I hope I can get answered in here.

2007 Hummer H3 Black on Black....

1. Throttle Body spacers(Poweraid Spacer), are these a good buy in regards to throttle improvement and gas mileage? Also will it void my warranty if detected?

2. Cat back exhaust, or are there any other exhaust you'd recommend besides Magnaflow?

3. Airaid Intake System, will this void my factory warranty as well and are the gains noticeable? I'm looking for a tad bit of low end throttle response and a tad bit better gas mileage not much its a Hummer...

no voids but the spacer is a waste of money, the air cleaner is not worth it (I did it) lets too much in in my opnion if you off road. exhaust is the best for the buck but it get noisy. No voids but be careful who does the work. If they f-up the delaer will not fix it for ya.

Re: New 07 Hummer got Questions....

Thanks for the replies peeps I appreciate it. So from the sounds of it go with just the Exhaust and call it a day. The V8 alpha sounds awesome but I just got my 07 1/2 they say three days ago. I do like the change of the window controlls prior to the previous 07 and 06 models.

I'm digging the Toyo open Country on some 20" x 10" Helo black with polished lip rims. Any comment on the road noise from the Toyo Open country? Sorry I'm going from a VW GTI modded out to a Hummer H3 so I'm a super newb when it comes to GM products and espcially Hummers....

I'm using Corsa exhaust system on my 06 H3. Noise at cruise is minimal so it's okay as daily driver.

So it sounds like an exhaust is my best bet and await for the Alpha to come out if I want more power. I'll check and see if I can find some clips of exhaust to listen too. Thanks to all who responded with some data and not the search in forums young grasshopper statements. I'm not new to forums I'm new to Hummer's....Pic's coming soon.....

Keep in mind here...your driving a vehicle with a 5 cyl motor and 240 HP if it's an 07. Spending money on an exhaust to gain 10HP at red line when you might buy an 08 Alpha ..to me is not a practical :violin:

I do agree, but the sad part I just bought the truck two weeks ago, so its an 07 1/2 is what the dealer stated. I wish I would have known about the Alpha that would have been nice with the extra HP's. I think I'll just add an exhaust and some cosmetics and call it a day.

The Ebay Volant exhaust for 375.00 any luck with this item? Anyone used it?

I bought my magnaflow exhaust for $385.00 shipped from www.completeexhaust.com. I had to call them in order to get the non-advertised pricing though.

Re: New 07 Hummer got Questions....

 You will do fine with the exhaust mod. You may want to look at a cold air ram as well....
The Alpha can wait unless you really need the power and want to spend on poor MPG:confused:
