tonneau cover question
 

I am just wondering about availability on the tonneau cover.

I bought my SUT 2 months ago and part of the deal was they toss in the cover. At the time i bought the rig the cover was on backorder.

I been calling every week or so checking and yesterday i drove to the dealership, hit up the parts department to "buy" one and they told me the cover is 4 months out before i can buy one. They told me one of the salemen was just checking for a customer about 30 minutes earlier (my salesmen checking for me... I guess he really was checking)

Any idea what the hold up is on these things?

they are on back order...i have 2 in my parts inventory, ask yoiur delaer if he wants to buy one from me and then PM me...

I waited 5 weeks for mine to come out of Dayton, Ohio. It was damaged in shipment and Bob at http://stores.ebay.com/PARTSINDUSTRIES_HUMMER_
got me one in two days. The line only runs on certain days and then they only do a few extra each time they are manufactured. The price however thru Ebay was approximately $900.00 and thru GM it's $2300.00. I had a local Auto Shop install mine because it is a bear and you need at least two working on it. They charge $225.00 and it was done "right". The "fisherman"

Anyone know of a tonneau cover (rear area cargo cover) for an H2 SUV?
