Anyone know what Flowmaster Super 40 muffler will fit the H3?:dancingbanana:

Re: Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler
Since it will replace the monster OEM muffler, anyone will fit. Had no problem with mine.

Re: Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler
I had then take off the restrictor as well, however, after about 30 minutes at 60 I had them put one back on. The noise gave me a headache. Now it is not to bad at all. Has a nice muffled hornet nest sound. I went to a local muffler shop for the install - $120.00. Including a stainless tip.

Re: Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler
I like them loud! I had my stock muffler and resinator removed... Welded a 40-series flowmaster where the resinator use to be.. Its a single in with a dual out.. I have two turn downs after the muffler... I also installed a cut-out pipe before the muffler. So when I want to, I can run open exhaust (which I do most of the time)

Re: Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler
It does seem to have more performance but dont have any number to prove.. It for sure has more throttle response.... As far as SMOG, mufflers have nothing to do with that.... Every single car I'v owned have had performance mufflers and they all passed SMOG.

Do you have the Flowmaster part number?

Re: Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler
I dont know the part number... Its a Non-delta flow 40-series flowmaster. Delta Flows are not as loud.
