Cigarette lighter plaxtic plug - need part #
Does anyone have a part # for that little black plastic plug that plugs the hole where the cigarette lighter would be if you ordered the smoker's package.
Just bought an 06 H2 with ebony interior, and mine is missing. There is just a big hole there. My dealer does not list a part # for this. Shows as part #25 on his schematic, but no GM part #. Help. Thanks. |

If only you had the smoker's package then you could light a fire under his ass to fix it. :giggling:

It was missing in my when I got it too. I called up the dealer and said I want one. (As in, I just dropped a lot of coin and it should have had one in it.) He sent me one in the mail, no charge.

Dealer shows no part # for this part in the schematic.
Does anyone have a part # for this instead of a smart remark? |

We're talking a Hummer dealer, right?? Tell him to walk over to the nearest H2in the show room, remove the plug inside it, and send it to you today. You shouldn't need no stinkin' part number for this. It his job to figure it out. My H2 also didn't have the air compressor hose accessory kit with it when I picked it up. The dealer said he would order one for me. I said no, you can order one to replace the one you're going to find me from another H2 on the lot right now. Which is exactly what he did. |
Re: Cigarette lighter plaxtic plug - need part #
Hi,
Maybe you will all better understand why I do need this part #. The vehicle was bought as a used H2 from a non-Hummer GM dealer. No plug when I bought it. I went to the only Hummer dealer in my area to order the part (there is only 1 within hundreds of miles), and they tried to look up the part #. No luck. SO, I can not just ask another Hummer dealer to "give" me a part off one of their vehicles in their showroom. I need to order and PAY for the part. NOW YOU KNOW WHY I NEED A PART #. Are there any GM parts people out there that have access to part #s? Anyone out there with a parts CD that may show this part? Does anyone sell a parts CD for the H2? Like they do for other vehicles on eBay and such. Does it exist? |

Re: Cigarette lighter plaxtic plug - need part #
Instead of spending way to much money on a plug go to your local autoparts store-murrays ,autozone etc and tell them you would like a replacement lighter. They are the same size for american and most foreign -Problem solved with little expense- Have a great day

Geez, who pooped in everyones Cheerios? All he wanted was a part #. If you didn't know don't reply. If you did, graciously tell him. It's not like he owns a Jeep or something. OK now I'm done scolding like a mom. It must be my tooth ache I have.:D :grouphug:
