Expelling Heat

Just wondering if there is a button sequence on the key fob that can be pushed or held, that will turn the air conditioner blowers on and roll all the windows down to rid the cabin of heat after sitting in the sun all day? I know there are some vehicles that have this, and I don't have the manual handy, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance.....Jamie

nope, nothing from the factory.

I did have this on my 350Z, it was a great feature.

As for the HUMMERS, my H3 had a viper alarm installed with remote start. You can have a module in each door put in that will allow your windows to open also. I thought they were about $75/ each.

Perfect, now you know what your next mod will be. :D

that sounds like a much better way to go,and probably a lot more consistant with a whole lot less trouble in the long run and cheaper too. pretty nice for defrosting the windows in the winter too.

Thats why you should only marry a girl named Gennie--tell her your Major Healey and have her call you master. It worked for me for 5 years until I could afford a garage door opener.Alas it doesn't work anylonger. Regards The Rebel:giggling:

Damn sounds like an upgrade. Atleast a garage door opener is useful, predictable and more reliable ( except for the batteries):jump: :jump: :jump:

Oh well, I guess his house will be the one that the EMT's are called to b/c he got his "twinkie" stuck into one of the garage door faucets. Not sure I would have made that trade bro.:D

On 05 models and up you will only need one relay with an aftermarket alarm. These models have the express down button for all windows on the drivers side door, so you will only need one relay to activate that circuit.

On other years without the express down, I think a relay can be hooked up to all windows on the drivers side controls to make them go down however I do believe most installers like to use a seperate relay for each one.

As far as the key fob that came with the truck, you are out of luck unless you can find and installer that can make the panic work windows. This might get tricky though.

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about actually cranking the vehicle, rather the blowers turn on and the windows roll do to get the hot air out, thus allowing a quicker cool down time once you get in, crank up and turn the A/C on.;)
