Door Handle Bucket?

New to the forum but been reading for a little while. I have a 2007 SUT and the drivers side door handle bucket has cracked. Do you guys think this would be covered under warranty or would they try to get out of it? Thanks for any feedback.

If the "crack" is along the lower edge, you may have had your lock "popped". Is anything missing from your truck?

It only takes a few seconds to pop, and you may not even notice it until days later. It is a very common occurance here in Las Vegas, but I even saw it on an H2 that I rented from Hertz in another city.

Theres actually A service bulletin issued on this, the lock cylinder fit is too tight and causes the crack. Definatly covered, changed out many that were not even delivered to the customer yet.
