HELP!!!! New H2 Owner here

I just bought my first H2 last night and I am totally stoked. This thing is flippin awesome. "I bet noboy here knows that right?"

Anyway the sunroof rattles on the highway as well as the side mirrors.
Also I noticed after I drove it off the lot that the drivers side mirror does not power fold in?

Can anyone help me remedy these problems?

Thanks,
Eric

Side Mirrors, You have a manual? Read it about Re-setting the mirrors, may help may not?

Sun Roof, did you try holding the switch for a few seconds after it closes? Probably a dealer item.

Why does the idea of making a dealer fix things escape some people?

if the backs of the mirrors are solid (black or chrome) then they probably need to be upgraded with the 06 style mirrors...sunroof rattle, open the sunroof and stand up in it from the inside and check to see that there is nothind caught (twigs, pine cone) under the deflector and also check that the fasteners are tight...

Is the 06 Upgrade a simple process?
What is the difference from 2004 to 2006 mirrors, other than 2 years :beerchug:

Any idea on the costs of this upgrade
Parts?
Labor if your not doing it yourself?

Thanks,

The problem is your stereo.....you don't have it turned-up loud enough! :)

It has the Solid Chrome Mirrors. I believe them to the the original? I can only assume that an 06 upgrad is going to mean $$$. Not sure If its cheap enough I can just do it. But if its more than $500 my wife will tell me to fix my radio and turn it up!!!!

Also on the sunroof do you mean check the fasteners on the wind deflector?

To all I really do appreciate the help. This seems to be a great group of hummer owners already!!

usually the sunroof rattle is that wind deflector. on my 06 it rattled around the 75MPH mark...havent gone on the open road with the 08 yet to see if it rattles.

the old style mirrors were plagued with that issue. There are threads on here how to fix them, but the consensus is to upgrade to the 06 or newer ones.
