Help
I bought a H3 factory switch for my offroad lights which came off a H2.
Ok only three wire i did every cobo that could be done and still can not make them work with the switch. AND IDEARS? |

Buy yourself a VOA meter. Learn to check continuity (Ohms). :twak: Use the meter to figure out which two contacts have zero resistance (ohms) between them when switched on. Those are for the positive lead and the load (lights). To figure out which is which, connect the third lead to a ground source (e.g. bare metal car body) and see which of the first two contacts lights up the switch in the ON psition only. That one gets the positive, the other gets the load.:dancingbanana:Post photos when complete.:popcorn:

Pin A - Power input from relay or lamps that powers the internal LED. (Inside the switch, this circuit goes directly to LED and then directly to the ground circuit inside the switch.
Pin B - Ground Pin C - Used by relay for ground. This is the circuit that goes into the switch and connects to ground when the switch is pressed. Courtesy of f5. |
