Air conditioner compressor
 

Greetings all,

I just wanted to verify the location of the AC compressor? The H3 has developed another vibration - only at 2,000 RPM - and it sounds very similar to the occassional resonance of the AC unit when it is turned on. I wonder if there is a shield or brackt in that area that may be the problem....

1) open the hood
2) Turn on your airconditioner
3)wait 5 minutes
4) follow the AC line that is cold. It runs on the top front side of the engine. (this is called the low pressure line) and you will find the compressor.
5) Read up a bit on how a cars AC system works.
