I haven't yet, but I learned today to make sure you feel the wheel hubs at every 200-400 miles on the trailer. If they are so hot they can burn you, you have a bearing problem that could cause a wheel to come off of the trailer. Probably knowledge everyone else knew, but a handy bit to know if you didn't.

Depends on what youve got my 06 with 3.5 is rated in the owners manual as 4500lb however its tied to your payload limits. I think the tongue weight limit is 500lbs.
Bear in mind GM typically underrates;) its limits for safety.

Re: Trailers

Lex - your trailer ROCKS! Where'd you buy it? I have been thinking about one very similar to that, but a bit bigger, myself. A military buddy of mine knows where to shave weight off of these ones to increase its capacity while retaining hauling capcity when considering overall towing weight.

Re: Trailers

I had posted the picture of Lex Ordo's trailer & earlier link about trailers. When I went back to edit, that wasn't possible anymore - so I got some help and a deletion. My grammar was pitiful in the post, must been an outside influence...

Anyway that fine trailer's picture is back in the post.
