Re: Trailers
I haven't yet, but I learned today to make sure you feel the wheel hubs at every 200-400 miles on the trailer. If they are so hot they can burn you, you have a bearing problem that could cause a wheel to come off of the trailer. Probably knowledge everyone else knew, but a handy bit to know if you didn't.

I don't know? The Whole post is gone. Well, here is my trailer; I guess it got removed from the other poster. ![]() |
Re: Trailers
Lex - your trailer ROCKS! Where'd you buy it? I have been thinking about one very similar to that, but a bit bigger, myself. A military buddy of mine knows where to shave weight off of these ones to increase its capacity while retaining hauling capcity when considering overall towing weight.

Re: Trailers
I had posted the picture of Lex Ordo's trailer & earlier link about trailers. When I went back to edit, that wasn't possible anymore - so I got some help and a deletion. My grammar was pitiful in the post, must been an outside influence...
Anyway that fine trailer's picture is back in the post. |
Re: Trailers
I was thinking of buying a 18 foot camper.(new/used ?)
They come in at under 3000 Lbs dry Has anyone towed one down the beach, its about a 2 mile run somewhat soft. Thinking ahead to next summer:D |
