So long little buddy
 

It was a tough night as I had to say goodbye to Max last night. I've been stuck in jury duty all week, and yesterday when I got out there was a call for me from my girlfriend that Max was having siezures and not doing good. Max was 12 and a half years old and his health was going down, but being consumed in this jury all week it was incredibly difficult to face this reality last night. Max was the biggest little dog in the world and had a vivacious personality that captured everyone's hearts. We will always miss him. Be well little buddy.

Sorry for your loss.

We had to put our dog down a few months ago. He had gone into acute kidney failure at 14 years old. It was very hard to do, but we just couldn't watch him suffer anymore. Our dogs are in a better place.....playing like they're puppies again!

Sorry about your loss ,My 17 Year old american eskimo had to be put down:crying: in feb.In april(we waited a couple months) we got a new pup it helps with the loss.

Its not the same comming home without the dog greeting you.

I am so sorry, Bklyn. I have been there, too. It was the hardest thing we ever had to do. What a great looking little buddy. :-( Think about the great times you had with him.

Thank you all for your support, it was nice to come back home today and hear all the kind thoughts. We are going to take Max to Vermont this weekend to lay him to rest. He was always so happy when he was up there.
