Ron Carter Clear Lake

Took my H2 in to get an oil change and I thought I would take a 08 for a test drive or even just sit in one. Nope, RC didn't even have one 08 H2. Not even in the showroom. Though they did have several H3's Alpha.....besides the bigger lookin wheels and engine (Sorry) I still don't like them.

Either houston can't keep the 08's on the lot or???

Oh yeah one other thing....I was sitting in the lounge waiting, and this guy next to me was talking about getting a Hybrid Yukon when they come out.....get this because he wants to help the enviroment.

I don't think RC is truly dedicated to the HUMMER dealership. DeMontrond seems to have a better inventory and is more dedicated.

Went to DeMontrond N I-45 yesterday and looked at the 08s. I like the new features, i.e 3rd row seat, bigger engine. But the interior has added a shot of estrogen and seems to have lost its HUMMER look.

FWIW, the saleslut that was "helping" us tried to explain what limited info he remembered of the new rig. 1/2 way thru, I ask for a demo. He says they have no demo, then goes on to explain some crap about demos and such. I tell him Im not buying a 60K rig w/o a drive. "Oh, a tester". Yea, whatever. Then goes to use the phone while we wait. And wait. Wait somemore. We then exit post haste, when the other slugs are wathing us leave and the guy whose "up" is walking out. Clown needs to go back to selling Sears appliances...

As to the H3 Alpha with bigger tires..they had a brand new 08 H3 with some meaty looking tires, and unless it was a dealer installed item (which I didn't see any installed list on the windsheild) this looked like a factory option.

As for H2 08's I've seen a **** load on the road...just None at the dealership....
