35's and nerf bar fitment

Maybe this has been posted before, but I did a search and came up with nada. Looking to put a set of aftermarket nerf bars on my h3 due to my vertically challenged wife. I have 35's with 4.5 inches backspacing, and am looking at some knock-off factory bars (3" blackpowdercoat similar to westin and GM) has anyone done this and have there been any tire clearance issues? Thanks.

I had a set of OEM's on my truck when I got it. Shouldn't be any problems. They didn't even come close to the tire.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll see how much they vary from brand to brand, my guess is that they are all pretty close to the same thing. Next stop ebay.

If you live in north Utah I have a set of chrome bars you can try on for size.
