H3 and 15 inch rims

Hi there guy's, I was wondering if H3's can take 15 in rims and can a 35inch tyre fit the stock suspension

Cheers

why wouldnt you just stick with the stock rims? as for 35 inch tires on the stock suspension, lots of people on here have it.

I don't think 15s will fit. There's hardly any space between the front calipers and the inside of the rim with 16s.

Nope. I measured you will have about 3/16" between rim and caliper with a 15" rim. Not enough for proper cooling or clearence for any little rocks that might try to jam in there. Technically they fit, but not safely. :beerchug:

Thanks for you reply's, I am looking at buying a H3 and I have some new 35 Mickey Thompson MTZ's in 15inch in the shed, so I was wondering if they would fit.

I wish man, I was in the same boat. I have a set of fairly new 35" BFG MTs on 15" Eagle alloys. First thing I did when I got the H3 was try to stuff those bad boys on there. no work. :beerchug:

have you tried using spacers or adapters? i had to do that to my GMC 2500 when i put h2 wheels on it. looks good and no problems @ 10k miles so far.

Re: H3 and 15 inch rims

Probably would have to space out about 2-3"s if I remember correctly based on the eagles I have. That would push the tire way out, probably causing premature wear on wheel bearings, huh? Would look pretty cool though. CAli law would require me to have mudd flaps in that case though...ghey.
