Another lift question
I was all set to get the Rancho lift then I read that with the lift it really performs terrible on the highway, and that you should change the gears in the truck. What is anyones take or experience with this. I do almost 100% highway driving...60 miles to and from work on the Garden State Pkwy.
Thanks |
Re: Another lift question
A lift won't require you to re-gear but if you add bigger (larger diameter)tires you may want to re-gear.
Why do you want a lift for highway driving anyway? Why not just crank up the T-bars |
Re: Another lift question
I really just like the look of the Truck with the Rancho lift.
Right now I have Toyo MT's 33x12.5 and eventually will get the 35x12.5's Would that require gears. |
Re: Another lift question
Mine rides and drives beter with the lift then it did without the lift. As far as gears, I'm running 35's and it's been fine. But I'm sure if you ever wanted 37's you may want to consider gears. If your going to take it offroad I would only get 35's. Thats about all the axle's could handle.
