roof lights problem

i have a 05 sut and don't know how to turn on the marker lights on the roof.do they even turn on. i looked thrugh the manual .it says they do.any help would be great

They should come on when either the headlamps are on, or if the parking lights are on. May need to check your wiring, and/or the bulbs.
