I have heard that if you disconnect the sway bars you will bet better articulation.

Has anyone done any experimenting with this for offroading?

This works on some vehicles. I did it on my Defender 90 but I dont know of anyone who has tried with an H2.

I'm really not sure how much stress the extra axle droop would place on my airbags.

My guess is, shock travel would still be the limiting factor rather than the sway bar.

I have yet to see a super flexy H2. It seems the trend is to go sky high.

Here's a nice thread on the sway bars:

Hope it helps.

You know it's folks like you that keep this forum going, and make it all worth my while to keep up with y'all. Without this "outside of the box" thinking, we would all be just riding in some boring stock H2!

Keep those twisted minds going!

Thanks,

Its true but mostly applies to solid axles. It would probably help some on the rear axle, but I wouldn't bother with the front. And like Alec said, its not smart to drive on the streets with them disconnected. Especially a heavy vehicle like the H2.
