OnStar upgrade?
 

Anyone have the analog-to-digital conversion done? I'm getting pissed - my Hummer dealer told me any GM dealer will do it, since it's a GM issue, not a Hummer issue. But the freakin GM dealer says they can't touch it since it's a Hummer.

Hummer dealer is over an hour and $30 in gas away. GM dealer is 10 mins from my house.

Anyone know what the truth is on this one?

Thanks for the link. Mine's an 03 so I know I need the upgrade. From the other thread it looks like folks are going to their dealer -no one's been able to convince a non-Hummer dealership to do this?

Seems my local GM dealer is just being a prick.

Emailed GM. Their response - ANY GM dealer can perform this upgrade. It's not Hummer specific and has nada to do with the warranty. So I guess it's just a matter of finding a non-Hummer dealer who doesn't have their head up their ass.
