It was awesome! The pics you see on the web do NOT do it justice! I was at the dealer today picking up my plates. I saw what I "thought" was a H2 with fender flares. I had to do a double take before realizing it was a black H3 with a lift! The extra height makes the whole damn thing looks bigger!

Being the impulsive bastard that I am I immediately called 4 Wheel Parts in Lynnwood, WA and made an appointment for a lift! Much to my dismay, however, they just called me to say that my new MKW M18 wheels will not work with the lift! Apparently the 5.5" back spacing won't clear the new knuckle! Rancho recommends no more than 4.25 inches.

Hell, I need to get new rims now if I really want to do this! Damn!

Haha! I was just in there a few days ago (Lynnwood $ wheel parts) when they finished the lift on the blue one for Bellevue Hummer. (Which looks great btw)

They tried to talk me into the lift as well... but no talking in the world will convince me to do that again. (Bad experience with my jeep going 4" up with a pro-comp lift)

I like the look on the one at Bellevue Hummer... but if you get a chance go to look at the one at Fife Hummer... Looks too good!

Kacy, I think you're as bad as me. Since the dealer told me that my H3 is on hold due to the NAV, I had it taken off and decided to go aftermarket... and I really wanted the factory NAV too. 4Wheel parts has a list of all the goodies and a warranty to go with them.

I'm sure you could work something out on those wheels. Do you still have those 35's? They would look GOOOOOOOD with that 4" lift! Come on Kacy, "everybody does it."

NOW WILL SOMEONE BUY MY SUT THAT IS COLLECTING DUST IN MY GARAGE.

Yeah, last time I was at the Fife dealer (McCann Motors) they had a red one in the showroom with the 4" lift, wheels, exhaust, and some other goodies. They were asking something like $46K for it... OUCH! Looked great, though. I had brought my mother by to make sure she could climb into the back of an H3 ok in her advancing years. She jumped right into the back of the lifted one and loved it!

On a side note McCann was about the best dealership I've ever bought a car from. Hope you got yours there.

Not yet, but I will when my current lease is up. You're not the first person I've heard such positive unsolicited testimony from for McCann. Thanks.
