Yup, everyone here is calling for blood. Cowardly considering the circumstances. 4 police officers vs. 1 very, very tired and frustrated UNARMED traveler. Gone are the days when 4 cops vs 1 unarmed = tackle to the ground and end of story. Police nowadays are getting lazy and are quick to rely on tazers and guns. They don't work for their paychecks anymore. Hell, look at that cop who tazered that mouthy black woman. She deserved it IMO but it just shows cops are weaker and ill trained than cops of old who put their lives on the line. Technology has made this generation of cop lazy. 4 armed police officers vs. 1 unarmed. That is sad.:raar: |

Re: Vancouver airport death vid
If the cop would have been a female from Saskatoon...it'd taken 1 to bring him to his knees. I think Dennis had it right but the 4 dudes from Vancouver were scairt and not afraid to work!
:giggling: Them chicks in Saskatoon are pretty burly! I've made the mistake of getting drunk and going home with one.... |
Re: Vancouver airport death vid
The moral of the story is "Don't speak POLISH in Canada"
A little over-reaction, don't you think... |

Re: Vancouver airport death vid
A big failure is the Vancouver Airport. They let that poor soul stew for 10 hours right after an 18 hour flight. Not one cawksucking monkey that spoke polish. You have all these French, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese (Pretty much all except of Polish) translators running around like it's this Polish man's fault.
18 hour flight, 10 hours stuck in a confined spot, not one person understands me or cares to help me, you damn rights I'm gonna be pissed off. I bet if DRTY were in that position, he would have been jumping up and down that counter flinging poo everywhere.:D |

![]() Sgt. Andrew "Drew" Carter Texas Rangers Through his investigative skills, Texas Ranger, Sgt. Andrew "Drew" Carter, was responsible for the surrender and arrest of serial killer Rafael Resendez-Ramirez, known as the "railway killer" after Ramirez bludgeoned at least eight victims near railroad tracks in a crime spree that spread from Texas to Kentucky to Illinois. During this period the nation was paralyzed with fear when the suspect was able to allude, capture and continue his killing spree. After Ramirez was placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List in June of 1999, Sgt. Carter got a call from Ramirez' sister summoning him to her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sgt. Carter was told that the subject would be arriving at the Texas/Mexico border at El Paso, Texas in less than seven hours. Despite obstacles which necessitated Sgt. Carter to drive throughout the night to reach El Paso, he did so along with the suspect's sister, her pastor, a U.S. Marshal and an FBI Agent. Further obstacles developed when the cell phone of the mediator, as well a s Sgt. Carter's, overheated in the midst of negotiations regarding Ramirez's surrender. Using the traditions and the training provided by the oldest law enforcement agency in the United States, the Texas Rangers, Sgt. Andrew Carter successfully arranged for the suspect's surrender at the border of Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas, thus ending a brutal crime spree that lasted at least two years. Sgt. Andrew Carter's actions are emblematic of the tradition, perseverance and professionalism that is inherent in being a Texas Ranger and represents the best in law enforcement in protecting the community and cooperating with local, state and federal agencies to bring to justice one of the nations most dangerous killers. |

That sounded sessual.:jump::beerchug: Everyone wants pig's blood here in B.C. I've watched it again and I still feel those cops were cowards. A sad display and a glimpse of todays LEOs in Canada and the US. He would have been treated better had he taken a hostage. They would have bought in a Polish speaking negotiator, some Krispy Kremes and truckloads of bravado and compassion. |
