I have an 04 and never really had any problems so far..So if I am an example, guess as they said the 04's were ok. Of course I have made a few changes, but it has never run or looked better..BRUTE:perfect10s:

Re: Consumer reports
Makes sense. When the 03s came out, it was mostly off-roaders. When the 04s debuted, that's when folks started buying them because they saw them on MTV Cribs. They lost their hip-hop luster after that, and it went back to off-roaders. So 04 is the only safe model year you can get that it likely hasn't been used for what it was made for. :)

Consumer Reports regurgatates what their 'scared of SUV' Volvo driving readership tells them.
They can lick my sack. :dancingbanana: |
Re: Consumer reports
I have an 03 and I just replaced the master cylinder and a hub bearing and pittman arm. This at 98,000 miles and regularly off road.:beerchug:
