Wow. They are saying he could have brain damage if he survives.

This is a really sad story. And with as little information as they are posting about this I am really expecting the worst.

x2 He really turned himself around after the birth of his daughter.

Don't forget what his family went through with his dad, either. Tough times for that family.

Brain damage isn't all it's craccked up to be. Trust me. Doesn't exactly sound like he was wired quite right to begin with. I'd just like to have the money from all of his fines!

Lighten up man. All of the sudden when an NFL players dies it's a major tragedy? There are 100s of stories everyday of tragic deather which are a lot more compelling for compassion than this one. I haven't seen you wail about any of those cases.

Not a very good correalation you draw here but ok I get your point. Doesnt mean I agree with it but I get your point. This is my team that I have grown up supporting for 30+ years. When something like this happens to your team you kind of have a little more invested than if it were just any other person. Wailing???? Well if you say so.

Thats all I was trying to get across.

Yeah. Funny how you can say that now after you deleted what you wrote.

Now, if you wanna talk about the impact on the Redskins......It is HUGE. He was a stud player, no question about it. But that has no bearing the value of the loss of this guy's life vs. anyone else.

I deleted it because I didnt want to seem like I was on some soapbox.

If you like you can repost it I am sure and if not then what I said for those that didnt see it was that Tower shouldnt be saying that he was mentally challenged or that he deserved what he got. So what if he went after some guys for stealing his ATV (I would do the same). And that he was aquitted of a DUI (big F'ing deal). Does this make him a bad person??? I have friends who have done worse things in life. He did not deserve what happened to him in this case.

Damn how quickly folks get flamed for being upset over something like this happening close to home. You are in Colorado not 5 miles from Redskins park like me. I also have lived in this area for 35 years so the Skins mean something to me. Sad to say but the everyday Joe that this may happen to I do not have a connection with.

Hope this clears up my deleted post which was deleted solely to help deter any further arguments:beerchug:

Miami is an S Hole. (BTW, so is Dallas, Houston, Detroit, Shreveport, Texarkana, All of Louisiana) And you can blame it on two things. Blacks and Mexicans. There I said it. Take the crime that comes from those two races and what do you have? Almost a peaceful society. Its Science. And A FNG Fact. Look It UP!
