Edelbrock Shock Install

Would like some input from anyone that has installed Edelbrock shocks.

The rear set went on no problem.

The fronts came up a little short. They appear to be about 1 inch shorter than the stocks. I do have the TB cranked up about 3 turns and plan on installing a set of reindexed keys. When I went to put the front shocks on they are coming up short.

Any help insight would be appreciated.

Re: Edelbrock Shock Install

Cranking the TB's pushes the lower A-arm away from the frame, creating more distance between the upper and lower mounts. You really should get longer shocks, like the Cognito/Bilsteins. There are also extensions out there but I'm not a fan of them. You can use the Edelbrocks (just extend the shocks when mounting them) but you may end up topping them out if you go offroad.
