Don't buy one. Your pickup is nicer.

Re: might be buying a hummer
I recently got a 2004 H2 and LOVE IT!! I have only had it for 3 months and like I told my husband: He will have to pry my cold dead fingers off the wheel.
I have no issues as of yet, but then again I have not really heard of many MAJOR ones. There were a few problems (from what I have read on here) about the mirrors in the '04 I think and a few little rattles and the windshields, but I am a firm believer that when you are making a "concept" into a reality, a few problems will arise. They have been taken care of and I personally think you will love the H2. Rides like a very nice truck and can go anywhere. Towing may be a issue...depends on what you want the H2 for. Good luck. |

Re: might be buying a hummer
I've had an 06 SUV and now have an 08 SUV, my father had an 06 SUT and now has an 08 SUV. Never a problem with either of them. I did have a wiring issue with my 08 but was fixed quickly by Cochran Hummer....great dealer!
Its a matter of what you want. A truck and an H2 are two very different vehicles. If you need to haul stuff then the truck might be a better route for you. When I need to haul stuff I have a utility trailer that I drag behind the H2. Depends on what year of H2 you are looking at....the pre 08's have a 6.0 that pushes 325 HP. The 08's have a 6.2 that pushes 393 HP. I've got to say the new drive train in the 08's is sweet and I love the 6 speed tranny. Its a great vehicle but again, depends on what you use it for. My Dad thought the SUT was a great idea coming out of an Avalanche....problem is....bed is too small to be really useful in his eye. After I got my 08 he thought about dumping his SUT. He looked at trucks, Avalanches and came back to the H2 again since he said.....there isnt anything like it on the road....nicest damn truck i've ever owned. He loves the 08 as do I. If you have any specific questions just ask...great group of people on here. |

Re: might be buying a hummer
We've had two and didn't have any problems we didn't bring on ourselves. Loved both of them.
