Re: H2 side marker light...

actually, i called the parts guy at the dealership and he said he would let me have it for $67.50. the online price of $65.99 is still too high...i really feel that this part shouldn't cost no more than $40.00 or less. i guess i'll try to find it at a salvage yard. besides, it's just a marker light and it's really not serving a major purpose.

Must of jinxed myself by posting about the side marker light, mine started to "flicker" last week and had to order one from the above link (thanks HummBob) for a total of $58.19 including S&H.

Re: H2 side marker light...

CBR_Raven, Did yours go out completely or did it start flickering on and off on occasion ?

Mine was the front passenger side, how I found out was by another person setting at a red light, they yelled over to me that it was flickering on and off. (guess it was bothering them)

At first I thought it was just coming on and going off with the rest of the lights due to the overcast day and it getting light and dark out.

Got home it was working okay until one day I was scraping ice off the windshield on that side of the truck and caught it out the corner of my eye flickering.

Attached is a picture of the internals after the old light met my vise, not much to them really.

yeah, i believe mine just went out completely...i never noticed it flickering or anything. i still think the price is way too high for that light and i wish they would have just made it with the replacement style bulb.
