Help with brushguard

I got a smokin' deal on a brushhuard, but no instructions. What's the trick in removing the plastic cover below the grill. I see it's got 4 tabs pressed through the grill.

It does seem like it will break something...and even sounds like it. However, just pull out one side at a time and it should just pop out. Also, on some of the h2's that didn't come stock with a brush guard, or meant to have one on production, the small plastic grill may need to have the ends trimmed slightly to allow the brush guard to go between both the bumper and the plastic grill. Once you get to this step, you'll see what I mean. If you don't need to trim, disregard and enjoy. Hope this helps....Jamie

Got it, just a little force and they popped out. I saw what you meant about trimming the ends, nice that Hummer marked them.

Thanks again.

No problem. Maybe post some pics when you have time. Take care....Jamie
