Remove the soldering
Hi, enjoyed the detailed explanation above on brazing. I have a question going in the reverse direction. How do you unsolder or unbraze a silver-soldered joint between stainless steel and brass without destroying optical components housed within?

Re: Remove the soldering
Where was there a thread about soldering/brazing? Either way the easiest way to remove solder is with a solder sucker, they can be found anywhere that has a good supply of electrical tools. As for the optical sensor, I'm not sure what you are referring to.

Re: Remove the soldering
Heatsinks are a must for the leads of sensitive components such as ICs and transistors.
