Morning all....this may be my last post....today I head up into the attic to install recessed lighting for the kitchen renovation we are working on.

Haven't ventured up into the attic in 15 years, there are two tiny access panels i have to get my 230 pound person though and I hope I dont get stuck!

Send food and water if I get stuck....and take good care of the H2!

Put one of these in. I put one in several years back (easy install)it comes in very handy.:beerchug:

And don't walk in those little spaces in between the rafters. :) We ended up planking the majority of the attic in OSB after hubby put his foot through the ceiling in the master bedroom.

Well....made it out alive....looked like a coal miner afterwards. Recessed lights are in, boxes for the other ceiling lights are in, all the outlets are in, cable and network wires are in.

I didnt fall through the floor, didnt touch any hot wires, and now...i think i'll be sucking down a few frosty cold ones!

Next on the list is demolition of the wall between the kitchen/dining room. Fix the plaster and wait for the new cabinets to get here.....

My wifey helped all day long....she's quite the little construction worker! Just have to train them early on...lol
