2008 H2 For Me!!!
 

Ok, after going back and forth between purchasing the lease of my 2005 H2 or not, yesterday I turn it in and left with a 2008 Black H2!!!!

I love that truck. The ride is amazing! Interior is great! Only thing is, what's the deal with that tiny "GM" badge next to the H2 one on the door???

Congrats on your new 2008 Hummer. I too have noticed the little GM logo
on just about everythinh GM makes lately. Not sure why?
BTW send pictures pictures sometime of your new truck.

Congrats on your new '08 H2! I picked up my '08 H2 yesterday, too! I traded my '06 black H3 for the '08 graystone H2! The H2 has an amazing ride. I love it. :D (Do you think I've said "H2" enough times in this post??? :giggling:)

Take the little badge off now and you wont know it ever existed. Is it just "glued" on?? If so pop off and just rub a little wax there and byebye;)

I had the HitchCam in my 05. I ran the cable over the doors by taking out the side panels. The 08 has air bag curtains for side impact, besides the panels are so nicely sealed that I would hate to trash them, so, maybe I'll try and run the cable thru the floor?

Also, was thinking instead of the HitchCam, looking into the H2 factory backup camera, which I don't know if it can be installed now. If it is like $800 from the factory, can't even imagine how much would it be now...

Yep, that's how my wife drives, let's see, she has "bumped" a mailbox, a tree, parking lot column, curb, etc. (lost count), and this was WITH the HitchCam...:giggling:

Congrats on the new rig.

I've got the factory Nav unit and the back up cam shows up there. In my dad's he doesnt have the factory Nav unit so his back up cam shoots out the side of the rear view mirror like the LE's used to. I dont know if either would be an option or not without ripping apart the interior too much.

Yep. let's get a report back in 6 mo. i too sold my 05' for the amazing 08' i have been trying without success to buy my good ole yellow dependable cushy seat 05' back since the day i sold it. Hopefully the guy i sold it too will call back.....someday.......my suggestion...send the gm badge to the guy in texas.

I am just leaving the GM badge on it.

Doesnt really bother me. It's likely just stuck on with double sided tape. Nothing an air chisel couldnt remove...LOL.
