If you are looking to get certified in CPR, you can get that at your local red cross. If you need to get trail certified, you can do this by going to a Hummer Club event where the trail leader can then issue your certification. Just be sure you talk to the event coordinator prior to the event...

Mike Morris is the one who leads up HOPE.... PM me if you need his info....

would like to get hope certified, since i do live in hurricane hell. May be hard to get the trail cert, there is one event near by but its kinda short notice. Do dealers offer hope training sometime? I know that gerry lane hummer in baton rouge offered it right after the storm hit.

First you would have to join the HummerClub. Then you could attend the event and they could certify you. It's mostly a review of your offroad skills, and how you and your hummer would be utilized in an emergency. You need to be certified in First Aid and CPR, but you could do that after the offroad certification.

You have up to one year after you get hope certified, If I was you I would do all the other stuff done get hooked-up your local Red-cross. Our dealership certifies the trail cert, be we also have a member that is certified to teach the class. If tou have other questions send me an e-mail at weipertda@q.com and i will try to help as much as I can. Thank you tour interest in the hope program.
