Well, my husband just got a call from the Hummer engineering department...a man asked a bunch of questions about our H3...questions about the transmission, rear-end, engine, electrical system, and stuff like wind noise, leaky windows...etc. Not sure if this was just a courtesy call that everyone gets or if it was something more...the man said it was a survey that they were doing for the H3 engineering department. Hmmm, makes me wonder a bit....oh well, I LOVE my H3 and no complaints here! Guess I got lucky and got one out of a "good batch"!

i'll bet a lunch they are not from GM engineering, they are UAW workers at the plant. a few years ago, GM started an initiative with the UAW to have workers call customers for a survey.
i have heard they identify that they are engineers; which they aren't.

I had the same thing happen to me last week. I thought it was a bit odd that they called themselves "Hummer Engineering."

odd that Gm would contact you in that way. Could be a left wing wacko group building a data base of hummer death to unleash on all Hummer owners and fans. or, could have been Hummer Eng. you decide

i got one of those calls last week but they didnt introduce themse;ves as hummer engineering. They said they were gm customer service and quality control

i think some go everboard on conspiracy theory against the hummer.

Anybody know if these are GM calls? I was told he was from GM engineering. Anything wrong with your Hummer? No, but I wish they had mudflaps standard. OK BYE!!!!!

Dam, no call for me! =(

I guess they have already read all of my "I Love my Hummer Posts" /shrug

these are random calls from UAW members to log your complaints, praises, suggestions, etc. information is provided to the GM customer assistance center in Texas, GM engineering in MI, and to marketing.
