Door Handle Stuck Open
 

Got an '03 H2 where the rear passenger doors outside handles stay stuck. Passengers can't get out when they are stuck open. I sprayed lubricant in there to no avail. Any suggestions?

I haven't seen this in person, but it sounds like the return springs in the latchs are stuck. you need to spray WD40 up into the latches where they catch the stiker. if the latch doesn't free up I would suggest using a penetrate that is better for rust in the latches.

Seen this many times, where the handle pivots it corrodes and sticks. Never had any luck fixing them end up replacing the outside door handle assembly. If ya had the time you could disassemble them and attempt repairs but being a dealer tech the time it would take would cost more in labour than the new handle.
