Powdercoated Stuff

2 Attachment(s)
I got my front mini grille and my side vents powdercoated a gloss black and turned out pretty cool. Im getting my rails and my fuel door done next, followed by the door handles.

The side vent OEM is plastic. I got the billet one and PC'd it, and the mini wasn't OEM. Bought that mini one then PC'd it.

Looks good.
Let me know how much they charge to a gas door please.
I'm thinking about doing mine if it is not outrageous.

I had my mini grill pc'd too. I cut out the little honeycomb plastic piece when i originally installed my (chrome)mini grill so you couldnt see it behind the mini grill. When i swapped to a black grill, the chrome looked retarded so i either had to buy that plastic honey comb piece or pc my chrome mini grilll--in my opinion the black gloss pc looks better than the honeycomb plastic and it was cheaper....well actually it was free ;). I prefer your black pc'd side vents to the plastic ones anyday.

I went from this:

I managed to find SMA parts in the 'titanium' finish and had my hood handles, hood latches, door buckets and handles and hood vents all powdercoated gloss black. Much easier than painting the plastic pieces and now all of the parts are metal...

They have completely differnt looks. The powder coating looks true to color whereas teh black chrome is not black--more like a dark colored chrome.
