Tire recommendations
 

Its time to change the tires on my 04 h2 and I was wondering what type of tires have you guys have put on yours? I was thinking of going to the original Bfgs A/T, does anybody have any other recommendations, also roughly how much they will cost. Thanks Steve

I would recommend looking through all the photos (this forum in particular).
Then just ask about the ones you like.

Might help to specify if you're after all terrain or mudders.

I have a set of 17" Detata Wheels off of my H2 with OEM size BFG A/T's. The tires have approx 5k on them and then I upgraded to 20" wheels and new tires. If your interested let me know. I don't have a price in mind let me know what new ones cost and we'll figure it out.

I have BFG M/T (I think MK2's) when I got them 1 1/2 years ago they were the number one rated crawler tire, or so i was told. I have been very pleased with them. The A/T I had issues with because they would not clean very well. (when spinning throw mud off to provide clean tread for next rotation.) I hated them! When you go with mud terrain in a daily driver you really need to beware of noise and ride comfort. I have not had a problem with either. I have had many different types of M/T and these have by far been the best. The life has really impressed me. It has already been 1 1/2 years and they are still good. Thats over 15000 miles for me. Here is a pic of them. they ran me around 600 each. 37X13.50X22
