Picked up my new Alpha today!!
Just got home... it is a nice truck! Black Alpha with the adventure package, I think it has most of the options available from the factory. Also added the side steps and should have a body colored grill any day now. We ordered wheels and tires on Saturday but they wont be here till friday :( Going with 35x12.50R20 mud grapplers... Should look good but probably won't win any awards from any of you HOABies haha...
We are planning on going down to moab next week to break it in properly ;) I will post some pictures in the morning. |

Pics! Are you gonna run Moab with the stock tires? I'm anxious to see how those Alphas do down there. Very cool. :cool: |

I'm not sure if I'm going to run the aftermarket or stock wheels. I do know the 20" chrome wheels probably won't like the rocks too much but maybe there will be enough sidewall to give me some piece of mind... I think I'll just have to wait and see.
Does anyone know how hard/easy it is to remove/install the side steps? I doubt its a good idea to have those on in moab. I got a set of MB motoring V-drive chrome wheels. They had a special on instock wheels last week so that did help my decision. Too bad they didn't have the tires in stock.  |

"You don't know what I got" reffering in your case to that nice small block v8 under the hood. Good Luck with it!:grouphug: Your quest about the rails. I would leave them on till you find a replacement. Better to scratch them then mess up your rig! |

well the tires didn't come in today like I thought they would....so probably looking at monday...which is ok I guess since the cognitos won't be here till then anyway... I'll keep you guys posted
