Service Air Suspension 2004 H2
Hey,
I have a 2004 H2 and the service air suspension notice keeps coming up on my dash and my air suspension is not working. the compresser works in the back for pumping up tires and whatnot but the compressor does not kick in when i hit the lift button. also its leaning to one side. about 2 years ago the replaced some "controler board" for the air suspension but i'm at a loss as to what to try. any ideas?? thanks, dan |
Re: Service Air Suspension 2004 H2
You need to get the codes scanned at the dealership. There is an updated two stage compressor that comes with a new module. About a $2000 job. Could be a broken ride height sensor also, they are located behind the rear tires on the upper control arm.

Re: Service Air Suspension 2004 H2
Can a normal Code Reader from Autozone pull that specific code or do you have to use the GM code reader to get Air Ride Results?
Thanks, Eric BTW how much was the Height Sensor? |
Re: Service Air Suspension 2004 H2
Most low cost code readers will only read powertrain codes. You need a reader that can read chassis codes.

Re: Service Air Suspension 2004 H2
Anyone have a list of which code scanners will read those DIC codes like the air suspension system? I don't mind spending some $$s on a good tool but web searching isn't turning up anything but the Tech II which is a little bit too much.
