Side veiw mirror mishap
 

:crying: I recently had a buddy throw a umm.. soda bottle out of my passenger window and he hit the mirror. The glass places tell me you can't just buy the glass you have to buy the whole assembly. Anyone have any experience with this? Note: It is not heated nor does it have turn signals.

For one... ban your buddy forever being in the truck from now on ..... then have him pay for another mirror!

Check with the dealer. Be persistant.
My 06 mirror broke when I tried to take off a stick on spot mirror.
The first dealer I checked with told me that I had to replace the whole mirror.
The second dealer ordered me the glass but it was back ordered and I ended up installing the whole mirror as I was leaving on a trip and was pulling a trailer.

This was on my 06, heated and auto dimming mirror.

Edit: I just saw that you are in Houston. I bought my H2 at DeMontrond. Check with John (Service Manager) as he is the one who ordered the glass for me.

I have the glass for both sides. If you still need them let me know.

Somebody stole the driver side glass piece on my H2.

Was $300 to replace just the glass at the dealer.
What a rip-off. Fixed it before I got pulled over though.
