Torsion bars with ranchos 4" lift.

if I tighten up torsion bars can it cause problems. I have ranchos 4" lift with 9000xl shocks. I could easily gain 2" more lift.

I know there are some problems if torsion bars are cranked up if its done to stock H2 but what happends if I do the same thing to lifted truck with 9000xl shocks ...

If have the same lift kit and installed the Supermaxx torsion keys about a month ago. Works great and no issues at all. Ride quality is unchanged. There is a picture of it in the Photo sections of this site titled 2003 H2 with 40's. Here is the link.

I might not need supermaxx keys because I can add more lift just by adjusting stock keys. Its the same thing right? Did you adjust your stock keys to get more lift before you purchased supermaxx keys .I bet you did but Ihad to ask :) ?

Re: Torsion bars with ranchos 4" lift.

I did adjust my stock torsion bars prior to adding the Supermaxx torsion keys. Ride quality was very stiff and you cannot adjust the stock key as much as after market keys. You will need to realign the front end once you adjust the keys.
