painted maxx 8's ?

I was thinking of painting the machined lip on my black helo maxx 8's. Anybody done such a thing? I know how, I just don't know if I 'm sure yet. Thoughts? 16x8, 35" Dune Grappplers

oh yeah. black. I would have to match that shiny semi-orangepealed clearcoat though. I just notice a big difference in trucks that don't have the lip that contrasts--they look a little more...military. of course my truck is white.

Any pics of these wheels?? Someone painted their wheels to get rid of the chrome. They ended up going over the whole wheel with flat black camo spray paint.
