H2 SUT Tailgate
 

Hi I'm new to the forum and I'm trying to decide whether to change my 03 h2 for an 08 SUT. Is the tailgate/tonneau lockable?. Does it have a rear air compresor outlet like the suv? . Is it possible to have the midgate down but keep the window in place?

-SUT cover lightly locks both tailgate and the optional cover
-Yes, if you get the rear air suspension option
-No, as the window moves down into the midgate. You could go for Hi-Tech Slantback cover though and leave both open. However, this is pricey option at around $6K

I've been allready thinking about the Slantback cover, but I'm not 100% conviced with the looks of it.

like he said lightly locks it , the tailgate handle does not have a lock. a bar
on the tonneau grabs a bar on the tailgate when u lock the tonneau ,so with a good pull the tailgate will open,it works but isnt all that secure.
