Ha! Drool now, people.

Got me a Miller 375 X-treme plasma cutter today. Of course, I was going to the welding supply shop just to fill a C25 bottle. But.....how could I leave without this baby? :D

Bring your rigs over and I'll chop them up.

Looks a little small. What does it cut soda cans?

That one should cut 1/8" cold rolled steel fine. That's enough for his piddly Jeep projects.:clapping:

Ummmm, Nope.

It's small because it's compact and portable. Rated for 3/8, cuts up to 5/8. ;)

My bad. My plasma is 10 years old and weights a ton. And it cost me over 4G's:clapping:

Looks like they've come a long way.

I have a feeling mine is gonna break down around lunchtime on Tuesday.:giggling:

I want to see the pictures of the aftermath of deciding it would be cool to use the cutter after a bottle of Balvenie works its devilish magic.:)

Ummmm.......Can you teach me, sensei? I could put a couch in the garage so you'd feel at home.

Free hand always require a stead hand. I have templates for ovals and circles.

What would be a real buy is a plotter table for your plasma cutter.

Autocad + Plasma + Plotter = Complete garage:iagree:

Hmmm. I haven't heard of a plotter table. I'll check into that.

In addition to regular garage cutting for the rig, I'm gonna do some stuff for the inside. Some if it I want to freehand without straight lines.

I did buy a table guide that keeps the wand at a consistent distance from the metal. It fits over the end and has small wheels on each side, plus a depth adjustment.

I wish.:(

I rely on free hand and templates. But the company 2 buildings down from us has a 10' x 10' plotting bed that cuts 1" thicks.
