Shouldn't this thread be titled "What are your parents paying for gas?" :jump: |
Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
$3.89 (cash) to $4.03... and that's for regular 87 octane! :crying:

Ha! $3.79 here. |
Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
$3.50 for regular, but working for an oil company, employees get a 40% discount so I'm paying about $2.10/gallon. No complaints here.

Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
I use my truck lot during the day and spend about $450.00 a week or $1,800.00 a month to visit clients. When oil was $86.000/barrel last september I was paying about $220- $250.00.00/week. Price of oil will be coming down, society cannot sustain itself with oil prices this high, actual prices should be around the $83-$87/barrel.

Just a matter of time before folks pull out their "credit card"....
![]() Then I'll be waiting for the first story of "Man killed while stealing gas" news story. Hopefully it will be in Texas where shoot to kill is the state moto. :clapping: |
Re: What Are You Paying For Gas

Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
$3.69 down the street today. But I filled up on Friday for $3.49. 20 cent jump in less than a week, its ridiculous. I've been filling up when I have a 1/4 tank left so the numbers don't look so bad. :)
The funny thing is, even with the prices, I see more H2s than ever. I saw 3 just on the 5 mile stretch of farm road that I take from our development to the highway! Stacy |

Well I sure hope they hurry the hell up!!! It never use to bother me to pay the higher price to drive the H_, but since I no longer get paid for miles driven or monthly expenses for auto, this sucks! ...although 15.7 in my H3 isn;t too bad. THe H2 is parked and hasn;t been driven for almost a month. The new owner will love those fuel bills. :iagree: |
Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
$4.06 this morning. CA prices are always well above the national average. :soapbox:
What is really annoying is they have credit card limits of $75 on most of the pumps so you can't even get a full tank without swiping your card again. |
Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
Paid $3.49 Sunday night.

Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
$3.76 in NC

Yes, we're above average on gas prices, but we also have an additive added to our gas that help hold down the pollution, which jacks up the price. (Just like CA vehicles have to have catalytic converters). Makes the fuel prices sting a little bit more. |
Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
$3.81 in Seattle, one of my fellow students just came back from Saudi and the price is up to .45 cents a liter.

Re: What Are You Paying For Gas
