chrome spare wheel?
 

just noticed the spare dosent match the wheels on the truck? the spare
is the exact same wheel but looks polished instead of chrome.is this normal? its a 08 lux with the chrome 7 spoke wheels.

I bought chrome rims with mine and my fricken spare is chrome.

regular chrome wheel all 4 match.

heres the spare, its not chrome its polished.also notice that the inside of the spokes are smooth.

all four on the truck are right ,they have rough area between the spokes,just like my h2 . the spare is totally smooth and looks to be a polished wheel? i thought maybe the spare got switched or put on by mistake, but i looked online and theres no mention of a wheel other than the chrome 16 ,silver 16,chrome alpha and the 18 inch chrome X wheel.

two ways....were the wheels chrome when you got to the lot or did you ask for chrome wheels....or second way, someone bought a truck with chrome wheels and did not want them...but they all should match....

H3s started coming with polished aluminum rather than chrome due to the centers rusting under the center caps(mosty in NE areas). Normal for recently produced units(they deleted the tire pressure monitor too)

That makes sense, I'm gonna check out the other 08s when I go back
for my new plates.and yes the chrome wheels were on the truck
and the window sticker, they weren't added on by the dealer .

I just checked mine. I have na 08 Alpha with the other style chrome on mine. The out lip of the rims are chrome (all 5) and the center backset parts are painted. All 5 are the same though. My neighbot has an 07 with the smae rims you do and all 5 match though. Maybe an 08 change?

maybe not.....
