AC help
 

I need some help if anyone is online today. I am about 400 miles from home and my AC went out. It is Sat and no dealers are open. I have a 2006 hummer H3. The compressor will kick in but I have no fan at all. I also don't have any power to the cig lighter 1 and 2. Can anyone tell me which fuse # controls the fan motor? Or is it a relay or both. My manuel is at home too. It was working fine when I shut it off. Then started it up and no fan.

Your blower motor resistor and it's connector are probably burned up. Not much you can do other than having the resistor and harness replaced.

Took it in today and they told me it would be Friday before they could get to it. The motor itself is fried. I got a loaner 2007 H3 to drive till its fixed.

That's how I got hooked into buying my H2. They gave me an H2 for two days when they fixed my H3 two years ago. There are still some things I miss about the H3 though, primarily the 17 mpg highway and the ability to take it in the parking garage at the airport.
