I saved this article just in case GM actually was committed to increasing fuel efficiency of its entire fleet. Guess it was accurate.:notallthere: :(

Re: GM NOT COMMITTED TO HIGHER FUEL EFFICIENCY

GM seems to be dragging their feet on the diesel with diesel fuel prices up in the US. Why is it just across the border in Mexico with gas running $2.50 a gallon, diesel is running $2.20. In many countries diesel is still less than gasoline. Diesel is still much more expensive than gas in the US. They say it's supply and demand, but I think it's another case of manipulation by commodity and futures traders. Doesn't the South African built H3 have a diesel?

diesel is almost the same price as regular gas over here in Belgium.

In upstate New York diesel is 82 cents a gallon more than regular gas - RIDICULOUS!
