Anyone over 100K miles on thier rig?
Just Wondering how its holding up? any squeeks, rattles? MPG? any major work had to get done? etc.
Ive got just 17,000 on my 06. If the H2 dissapears, or even the Hummer brand, I may plan on keeping this for a long while. I wonder how long she'll last, and how the H2 wears over time. |

Re: Anyone over 100K miles on thier rig?
My last H2 I sold with 98K on it. It was an 03. Around 95K I replaced the brakes for the first time, and put it's 2nd set of OEM tires on it. Over the years replaced idler arms and other normal wear items, but I was impressed with the tires and especially the brakes considering the weight of the vehicle. When a vehicle hits 100K the trade in value takes a dive because many banks won't finance (at least at a good rate anyway) vehicles with over 100K miles. I had to put a bunch of money in it and then trade it.:crying: But it was a great truck and would have lasted forever I bet. Keep up on the maintenance and she'll treat you good for many years.

Re: Anyone over 100K miles on thier rig?
I have over 100K and it looks and runs like new. Replaced a set of tires recently and had broken exhaust bolts replaced. Still on original brakes and the engine, including plugs have never been replaced. I bought it new, paid cash and probably will have to keep it as its' value is not worth me getting rid of it. I'll buy something else new to drive and probably leave it for my son when he is old enough.
